What kind of economy is this, anyway???

…One in need of serious reconsideration, is what…There are plenty of books and writers out there, that’s for sure, on the various subjects. Here is one of three that I will give separate posts to, with appropriate linkage and such like:

Divide American Injustice in the Age of the Wealth Gap by Matt Taibbi. Buy it at http://www.allbookstores.com/book/compare/9780812983630...
or, check out the googlebooks preview at:

This is the guy who I think wrote the most illuminating accounts of the whole financial meltdown, the aftermath, the bailouts, and the implications. Go to http://www.rollingstone.com/contributor/matt-taibbi because I guess he is back at RS and check out his articles starting way back in 2006-7. It is worth a subscription to RS to read his work on the Great and Ongoing Recession as it appeared over the years. When I first read the articles I remember thinking: "Hey, this is a great gonzo styled journalist in the Rolling Stone tradition of Hunter Thompson, but I am thinking, how accurate is all of this… well, it turns out that as the years churned and more and more came out about how the Obama-Bush team bailed out the financial sector and then went along with allowing the too big to fail syndrome to heal with a steroid like regimen of public sector support, well, Matt was telling it all like it really was before anyone would have believed it- and still is.
